Remko ter Riet MSc, is a dedicated nurse anesthetist and physician assistant, specialized in (chronic)pain management and procedural sedation. He has a solid background in healthcare, including surgical assistant, pain consultant and as a Works Council member in his hospital
Remko further developed his expertise by obtaining a master’s degree in 2022. He is actively involved in national committees, such as the National Green (sustainability) OR Network and he participates in the development of national multidisciplinary, evidence-based guidelines, for example; pain management and sedation.
He is chairman of the NVAM (Dutch Association of Nurse Anesthetists) representing the Dutch Nurse Anesthesists.
In addition, he shares his knowledge as a lecturer at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, inspiring future professionals within the perioperative nursing program for nurse anesthetists and OR-nurses.
Known for his empathy and dedication to patient care, Remko continuously develops innovative approaches for excellent care.
