Dr. Michael J. Burns, DNAP, CRNA, is an Associate Professor of Nurse Anesthesia at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He brings over two decades of experience in clinical practice, academia, and global health education. He also serves as faculty for the Acute Surgical Pain Management Fellowship at the Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia. Dr. Burns is widely recognized for his expertise in regional anesthesia, ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, and enhanced recovery protocols. A dedicated mentor and research chair, he has guided numerous scholarly projects. His global initiatives include serving as faculty at the St. Louis University Institute in Cameroon and leading efforts in distance education.
