Natalija Brunčič, BSc in Nursing, is an experienced nurse anesthetist working at the Clinical Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana, Slovenia. She obtained her nursing degree from the Faculty of Health Sciences in 2005. For over 15 years, she was a core member of the anesthesiology team at the Institute of Radiology. In 2025, she took on a new role as the head of the Acute Postoperative Pain Management Service. She is still actively involved in the hospital’s resuscitation team, the national organ transplantation program, and the acute stroke response team. Natalija has a strong professional interest in improving perioperative pain management and patient outcomes. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and finds peace in the mountains. She is also a passionate advocate for animal rights and is committed to values of compassion, responsibility, and respect—both in clinical practice and daily life.
