Mohamad Syah Insyah, born in Pangkalpinang, Bangka, Indonesia, is the Sub-Field Chairman of International Relation Cooperation at IPAI (Ikatan Penata Anestesi Indonesia) / IANA (Indonesian Association of Nurse Anesthetists). His career began in emergency nursing at Bakti Timah Hospital from 1999 to 2001, followed by a role as a nurse anesthetist at the same hospital from 2005 to 2008. Since 2009, he has been serving as a nurse anesthetist at Depati Hamzah General Hospital.
Mohamad’s educational journey includes graduating from Basic Nursing in 1998, earning a Diploma 3 from the Health Polytechnic of the Health Ministry in Jakarta in 2004, and completing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nurse Anesthesiology from the Health Polytechnic of the Health Ministry in Yogyakarta in 2023. His professional experience is extensive, including membership in the Collegium of Nurse Anesthetists in Indonesia (2024), participation in IFNA meetings in Amsterdam (2024), and speaking engagements at WCNA conferences in Croatia (2022), Budapest (2018), and Glasgow (2016). He has also completed various specialized training programs, including BCTLS Plus (2014) and Emergency Patient Management in Bandung (2001).
