Florian Mueller is a certified nurse anaesthetist working at the University Hospital in Basel, Switzerland. In 2021, he completed his master’s degree in nursing science at the University of Basel. He then assumed the role of Lead Nurse APN within a shared leadership team, working alongside the Nurse Manager and the Head of Education. Together with a team of ten specialist nurse anaesthetists, he develops new models of care and actively applies practice development methodologies, with a strong focus on person-centred care. Alongside his teaching responsibilities, he is also in charge of the unit’s continuous professional development program.
