Heather L. Bair, DNP, ARNP, CRNA, CHSE, FAANA, is a Clinical Associate Professor and Associate Director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program in Anesthesia Nursing at the University of Iowa. Dr. Bair is a national leader in simulation-based education, crisis resource management, and patient safety. She has spearheaded innovative curriculum design integrating high-fidelity simulation and standardized patients to enhance clinical decision-making and communication skills. A Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology, she serves on national boards and committees, shaping certification standards and advancing nurse anesthesia practice. She is committed to developing the next generation of nurse anesthetists through innovative evidence-based education, mentorship, and interprofessional collaboration.
