Sari Pyhala

Sari Pyhälä is a Finnish RN specialized in anesthesia- and perioperative care. In addition to basic education she has provided studies related to operational and HR-management.
Sari Pyhälä worked 25 years as a nurse anesthetist in one of Europe’s busiest trauma centers in Helsinki, Finland. Years in Töölö Hospital created a strong professional base and in it’s challenges and complexity those years were the most rewarding and important for her.
Sari Pyhälä is working today as an assistant head nurse in a surgery- and anesthesia unit and besides her administrative tasks she works regularly as a NA.
To promote the profession of nurse anesthetist and the profile of anesthesia care has always been important for her. She acted as a chairman in Finnish Association of Nurse Anesthetist for six years, was a member of the board overall 10 years and represented Finland in IFNA for four years.
