Lucy Harman is a healthcare leader and Director for the Australian College of PeriAnaesthesia Nurses (ACPAN), joining its Board of Directors in 2024. She is an anaesthetic nurse and staff development nurse, currently pursuing a Master of Nursing Science specializing in anaesthetics and recovery.
Lucy played a key role as the anaesthetic nurse lead in establishing a paediatric dental service in a regional hospital in Western Australia. She is passionate about delivering therapeutic, age-appropriate care through effective communication, ensuring paediatric patients and their families feel supported throughout the surgical process.
A dedicated advocate for peri-anaesthesia nurses and patients, Lucy is committed to education, empowerment, and professional development. She works to elevate nursing standards, providing access to high-quality education, resources, and support to advance excellence in peri-anaesthesia care.
